Illustrations by Omercan Cirit & Kanizo Art

Designs by Holly Jameson

“Niversai Burns” (Moroda): The illustration depicts Corhaven’s capital city, Niversai, under siege by a rogue dragon, and Amarah's airship, Khanna, fleeing the devastation.

“Vendetta” (Palom): The illustration depicts a confrontation deep in the Rio Neva forest of Val Sharis, between Palom and Mateli. They're beside the Waterside Inn, where Palom has discovered a scene of terrible carnage and bloodshed.

“Off The Edge” (Amarah): The illustration depicts Amarah leaping off the edge of Traego's airship, Otella, and plummeting towards the Sea of Nami below. Her hand is outstretched, reaching for something that's just out of sight.

“Cat & Snake” (Isa): The illustration depicts Princess Isa standing her ground against a transformed Varkain in an underground tunnel. She holds up a long knife, ready to defend herself against the enormous snake’s attack.

“Alnothen” (Dragon Spirits): The illustration depicts the ancient and powerful dragon spirit, Alnothen, who is Spirit of the Spindlewoods. A forest spirit, Alnothen rests on a moss-covered branch, her serpentine neck stretched towards sunlight bursting from the canopy above. Mushrooms grow along her back, and her tail ends in a huge rock that looks like it is pulled from a pond. She is the very life essence of her forest.

“Toriaken” (Dragon Spirits): The illustration depicts the titular Iron Dragon, bonded to Queen Surayo, as he stands behind her throne. One of the most powerful dragon spirits to exist, Toriaken single-handedly defeated the Myr and secured Surayo’s victory and reign as the conqueror queen. Though the physical embodiment of iron, Toriaken is regal, cunning, and beautiful in his own way, as shown with his grey, silver, and white scales. But his tail ends in a spiked, mace-like structure - a reminder of his ferocity.
